I love working with a diverse population. You never know who will walk in and what story they will bring.
Patient Care Philosophy:
I try my best to always put myself in the patient’s position to understand what their needs are. Then I take the most conservative approach first to get them what they need.
Interesting Note About Myself:
My wife and I have two awesome cats, Omar and Watson.
Whitworth University and University of Washington School of Dentistry
Certification:
Advanced Education in General Dentistry, Seattle.
Why I Work at ICHS:
I enjoy seeing patient’s from all over the world. Sometimes, I am my patient’s first U.S. dentist which is very empowering. I enjoy educating them on oral health, nutrition, and their overall well-being.
Patient Care Philosophy:
I am a dentist because I love being able to relieve someone of their pain, provide education, and restore a smile. I want all my patient’s to be proud and confident of their smile. I also believe everyone deserves compassionate and honest care, thus I strive to work with my patients in reaching their goals.
Interesting Note About Myself:
I have a lot of hobbies. My recent hobbies include painting, gourding, and wood working. I am currently trying to build a dining room table with my dad. I also love anything outdoors and playing in the sunshine.
I work at ICHS to have the opportunity to work with patients and staff who come from all over the world. This organization also feels like a family and I enjoy that aspect too.
Patient Care Philosophy:
I aim to provide the care, support, and education to my patients to the best of my abilities. I want them to see me as a partner in achieving and maintaining good oral health and overall well-being.
Interesting Note About Myself:
I love to watch sports (Go St. Louis Cardinals!), adventure, and travel.
I love the cultural diversity at ICHS. Being bilingual myself, I feel I can relate to many people at my work, including the staff I work with and the patients I serve. Through the few years I have been at ICHS I realized there are many underserved people who can use my help. This is one the most challenging positions since I have been a dental hygienist but is also one of most rewarding and I have learned a lot here as well.
PATIENT CARE PHILOSOPHY:
Help patients be at ease by being approachable and establish trust and respect with each and every patient.
INTERESTING NOTE ABOUT MYSELF:
I like to be active so I love outdoors activities.
I worked at the ICHS Bellevue location for about three years, but regretfully resigned due to the long commute. After working in private practice, I’m excited to return to ICHS, where I gained valuable experience in a diverse clinic setting. It also gives me joy to utilize my multilingual skills to serve clients in need.
Patient Care Philosophy:
Prevention and improvement are the keys to sound oral health. With early intervention by educating patients and improving their oral hygiene, we can prevent many infections and complications.
Interesting Note About Myself:
I like to window shop and hang out with my family and friends.
I am grateful for the opportunity to further my learning and work experience in a culturally-rich environment. In my ongoing nine years working as a registered dental hygienist, I strive to maintain meticulous attention to detail and initiative to ensure the standard in quality of my work. I thrive on new challenges. I am convinced that my commitment to excellence and diverse clinical experiences will help contribute to shaping a healthier community.
Patient Care Philosophy:
When treating symptoms alone, I can help alleviate temporary pain. By working with a patient, I can have a lifelong professional relationship.
