Why I Work at ICHS:

As a son of immigrants myself I understand the value of being able to find care for the family in an unfamiliar environment.  It was difficult for my parents to communicate their needs to doctors who did not speak their language.  ICHS provides this for its patients and it is an honor to work here.

Patient Care Philosophy:

All patient care should come from a place of compassion.

Interesting Note About Myself:

I am a big fan of Scandinavian film and music from the UK.  In my spare time I enjoy cooking for my family and I paint when my kids allow it.

WHY I WORK AT ICHS:

I love the cultural diversity at ICHS. Being bilingual myself, I feel I can relate to many people at my work, including the staff I work with and the patients I serve. Through the few years I have been at ICHS I realized there are many underserved people who can use my help.  This is one the most challenging positions since I have been a dental hygienist but is also one of most rewarding and I have learned a lot here as well.

PATIENT CARE PHILOSOPHY:

Help patients be at ease by being approachable and establish trust and respect with each and every patient.

INTERESTING NOTE ABOUT MYSELF:

Why I Work at ICHS:

When I got out of Dental Hygiene School, I have always wanted to serve at a community clinic. The reason is quite simple: I wanted to serve a diverse community as well those who could not afford and not have access to dental care.

Patient Care Philosophy:

My greatest belief is that everything should start out with educating patients about their oral health and that patients should be given the options that are available for them. I want to treat patients the way I would wanted to be treated: respect, care, and as an individual.

Interesting Note About Myself:

I was born on Guam which is always a great story to tell because I am Guamanian but with Japanese ancestry. I also have a twin. My hobbies are taking long walks around the parks and home cooking.
