After Hours Care

If you have a medical problem that needs attention after hours, please call our clinics.  An answering service will route your call to a nurse consult line. The nurse will ask about your medical problem and if appropriate, consult with a doctor to decide if you need to:

  • See a doctor immediately,
  • Go to the emergency room, or
  • Stay at home and follow the nurse’s advice.

Dial 911 immediately if you or a family member has any of the following symptoms:

  • Chest pain
  • Excessive bleeding, such as a puncture wound
  • Difficulty breathing and/or shortness of breath
  • Asthma attack
  • Head injury, loss of consciousness, severe headaches
  • Fever greater than 101 degrees or newborn baby with fever
  • Suicide threat/gesture or severe level of distress
  • Any other life threatening emergencies or serious injuries
