Why I Work at ICHS:
ICHS’s commitment to providing quality, culturally-sensitive and comprehensive health care resonates deeply with the type of medicine I want to practice. I am ecstatic and honored to have the opportunity to serve ICHS patients, to work alongside like-minded health care providers, and to continue to tradition of community engagement and activism in the International District.
Patient Care Philosophy:
I strongly believe that health care is a basic right regardless of ability to pay, race, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical and intellectual ability. Furthermore, I believe that to provide holistic care, we must reach beyond the clinic walls to consider how environment, social economic status, and health care policies affect health. I look forward to working on multi-disciplinary teams to address these different facets of health and wellness.
Interesting Note About Myself:
I was born in New York City, and spent a significant amount of my childhood in Singapore and Hong Kong. I find great joy in witty puns and documentaries. I am working on becoming a better cyclist, and am gathering up the courage to do crossword puzzles in pen.
