Year Joined ICHS:
University of Washington School of Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice
Why I Work at ICHS:
Having sought care as an immigrant myself, I can appreciate the importance of not only receiving excellent healthcare but also preserving a sense of dignity in that process. It is an honor for me to serve within an organization that has such a longstanding history of providing exceptional, equitable, and respectable care for all.
Patient Care Philosophy:
The cultivation of relationships is foundational to excellent care. I believe that my role as a provider is to ensure, empower, and encourage wellness. To best assure this, the key is to build rapport through listening and involving patients and families in healthcare decision-making. Being a good listener helps in providing contextually appropriate care.
Interesting Note About Myself:
My favorite pastime is to simply play with my two children and husband. When my kids have gone to bed, I enjoy making paper crafts. I also love finding good deals, exploring new cuisines, and I watch more television than I’d like to admit to.
