Why I Work at ICHS:
I was drawn to ICHS due to the resilient community it serves and its rich history of community activism and providing linguistically sensitive care. I love the diversity of the work I am able to provide: caring for newborns, children, adolescents, adults, pregnant people, elders; caring for people of various racial and ethnic backgrounds, immigration histories, genders, sexualities, financial means, abilities, talents, and challenges.
Patient Care Philosophy:
I aim to support the health and well-being of the entire person in a manner that is nonjudgmental and centered around patient values and goals. I have specific clinical interests in addiction, caring for people affected by systems of incarceration, mental health, refugee and asylum health, and adolescent medicine.
Interesting Note About Myself:
I enjoy cooking traditional Filipino dishes, cutting and styling hair, spending time with my partner, and watching television shows with subtitles.
