WHY I WORK AT ICHS:

I love the sense of community at ICHS. I am humbled to be part of generations of physicians, health professionals and activists at ICHS and have the privilege to care and advocate for my patients and their community. There is a rich history of providing the highest quality of care and of community activism from the earliest days when ICHS began as a small storefront clinic to today. We continue to serve many uninsured and underinsured folks at our multiple sites.

PATIENT CARE PHILOSOPHY:

Everybody deserves the highest quality of care, free from discrimination of their race, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical and intellectual ability, and their ability to pay. I value each clinical encounter and see it as an opportunity to get to know my patients better and offer the best care to my patients to help them make informed decisions about their health. As a family physician, I have the privilege of caring for everyone, from newborn to the elderly and all the wonderful life stages in between.

Clinical Interests:

Full-spectrum family medicine with obstetrics, HIV medicine, LGBTQIA+ health, hepatitis B and C, immigrant and refugee health

INTERESTING NOTE ABOUT MYSELF:

I was born in Saigon, Vietnam and grew up in New York with a little stint in Chicago for medical school before practicing here at ICHS. I enjoy learning new languages, exploring local restaurants, and hiking/camping.
