Why I Work at ICHS:
I am drawn to ICHS’s commitment to serve the Asian Pacific Islander and other minority communities. With my experience and training as an ethnic minority mental health specialist, I want to serve my own community and other minority communities that may face difficulties accessing mental health therapy due to numerous cultural issues.
Patient Care Philosophy:
I believe in a holistic approach in clinical work. I grew up in a culturally diverse environment, which taught me how to identify issues in many different perspectives. In my clinical work, I perceive a person’s issues in a bio-psycho-social-spiritual model. I care about their history, their life style, their community, and their dreams and hopes.
Interesting Note About Myself:
I find great joy in gardening because I love the earthy aroma. It grounds me and relaxes me.
