International Community Health Services (ICHS) has been awarded the Gold 2026 Immunize Washington Award for its efforts in reducing the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases and keeping children safe.

The Immunize Washington Award is a statewide partnership between public health, health plans and other organizations. Annually it recognizes medical providers for achieving high immunization coverage for their childhood and adolescent patients.

"Earning recognition in the Immunize Washington provider recognition program is a testament to our dedication to serving our community with the highest standard of care," said Dr. Jeffrey Gibbs, ICHS Chief Health Officer. "Our clinical teams take an active role in multilingual vaccine education, answering any questions and talking through any concerns. At the same time, our population health and patient navigator teams assist our patients navigate barriers so they can come to regular well-child checks."

2026 is the 12th consecutive year that ICHS has been recognized as a Gold Level Provider in the program.

This year, ICHS’ International District Medical & Dental Clinic reached the extraordinary accomplishment of achieving the highest immunization coverage rate (97%) of its adolescent patients in Washington State.

ICHS’ Holly Park and Shoreline clinics also received gold level awards for high immunization rates for adolescent and childhood patients.

All five ICHS medical & dental clinic sites achieved Gold, Silver, or Bronze awards in different age and immunization categories, making ICHS one of the highest performing providers in Washington State.
