How we can help
ICHS primary care providers will introduce a patient to a behavioral health provider if requested or if it is necessary for successful treatment. Patients may also schedule appointments directly by calling the phone numbers listed above.
Consultation: This is a quick 15-minute session where a behavioral health provider will gather information about a problem and recommend brief interventions. This commonly occurs during the appointment with the primary care provider.
Evaluation: We will gather relevant detailed information about your problem and recommend proven treatments.
Treatment: We recognize your unique traditions and cultural practices. We will work with you to come up with the best possible treatment that you’re comfortable with and help you implement previous skills, learn new skills, and make changes to your life so you can become well again.
Psychiatric Consultation: If treatment requires medication, your treatment team will either obtain recommendations from or refer you to a specialist with advanced expertise.
