Mental Health Clinician I

Full Time • Hourly Range $30.25 to $44.29   🌟 Eligible for a sign on bonus up to $5,000

    Job Summary

    The Mental Health Clinician plays a vital role in collaborative, client-centered care, focused on enhancing the emotional, mental, and behavioral health of those we serve. Working within our Outpatient Behavioral Health program, this role provides culturally sensitive assessments, interventions, and counseling services to a diverse range of clients. The Mental Health Clinician functions as a member of the collaborative care team within the framework of established behavioral health guidelines, ICHS’ Principles of Practice and approved by the appropriate licensing board in the State of Washington.

    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

    Position Requirements

    Education - A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work, which includes course-work in psychological diagnostics and individual counseling.

    Experience - One (1) year of experience providing individual or community mental health counseling preferred.

    Other Requirement(s) - Active and unrestricted associate license in the state of Washington: LMHCA, LMFTA, LICSWA, or Psychology Associate.

      Behavioral Health Specialist I

      Job Summary

      The Behavioral Health Specialist I is a member of the collaborative care team located at ICHS’s School Based Health center. This position will work from an integrated behavioral health model, providing a broad spectrum of culturally appropriate services, including completing behavioral health assessments with standardized behavioral and health risk screenings, providing group, individual and family psychotherapy, help with case management, and make referrals to students with behavioral health/academic needs. Additional indirect services will include providing consultation services to the primary care providers and the school staff, consulting with psychiatry, making psychoeducational presentations to staff and students about behavioral health, and providing liaison services between school staff and primary care providers. This position is subject to meeting performance expectations and grant continuation.

      Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm

      Position Requirements

      Education - Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field; and be qualified as a Mental Health Professional under WAC 388-865-0150.

      Experience
      - One (1) year of experience working with individuals with a disability, mothers, teens and children, and/or other high risk groups. One (1) year experience in a community health care clinic and direct service experience with bilingual/bicultural patients preferred.

      Other Requirement(s)
      - Active credential as a Licensed Independent Social Worker Associate, Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate with the Washington State Department of Health. Fluency in English required; fluency in an additional language valued.

      Behavioral Health Supervisor - HAWP

      Full Time • $77,792.00 To $113,895.27 Annually

      Job Summary

      The Behavioral Health Supervisor for Healthy Aging and Wellness Program (HAWP), under the supervision of the PACE and Senior Service Director will oversee and lead the social services and case management group. This position plans, organizes and implements social work services for those participants in the HAWP program, which include participants enrolled in the Program for All-inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE) and Assisted Living facility. The Behavioral Health Supervisor for HAWP provides clinical care and functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary team, pursuant to 42 CFR §§ 460.102(b) and (d), and meets applicable educational and licensure requirements to represent the Master's Level Social Worker role.

      Other Requirement(s) - Active Washington State Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker license. Valid WA State Driver’s license and proof of insurance. Must meet Washington State requirements and qualifications as an approved clinical supervisor.

      Behavioral Health Specialist II - HAWP

      Full Time • Hourly range $35.00 To $51.24

      Job Summary

      The Behavioral Health Specialist II – HAWP plans, organizes and implements social work services for HAWP participants and families. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: participant social work assessment; treatment; and teaching and counseling of participant, caregiver or other appropriate representatives/family to maintain participant support in the community. BH Specialist interventions may also include: individual participant contacts; appropriate collateral contact; participant and family education, assessment, and counseling; assistance with locating resources; addressing mental health needs as they arise; ongoing case management; advocacy to ensure participant and caregiver needs are met and addressed; and disenrollment procedures. The BH Specialist is the liaison between the interdisciplinary team, caregiver representatives, and community agencies. This position is a member of the Interdisciplinary Team, pursuant to 42 CFR §§ 460.102(b) and (d), and meets applicable educational and licensure requirements to represent the Master's Level Social Worker role.

      Position Requirements

      Education - Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work.

      Experience - Two (2) of experience working as a behavioral health specialist. Geriatric experience preferred but no necessary.

      Other Requirement(s) - Active WA State Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license. Member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW) or other NASW - recognized certification preferred. Must have active CPR and First Aid Certification, or willing to obtain within one (1) month of hire. Ability to travel within the Seattle area as needed. Valid Driver's License and Proof of Insurance required, if applicable.
