Notice: 4th Annual Lunar New Year 5K cancellation

Please be advised that the 4th annual Lunar New Year 5K in Shoreline on February 24 has been cancelled and ICHS’s Lunar New Year tradition will continue in 2020. We look forward to seeing the community and our supporting athletes at a great run-walk in Shoreline celebrating the Year of the Rat. Check back for updates!

About ICHS’s Lunar New Year 5K: A chance to run, give and celebrate

Each year since 2015, ICHS has held a Lunar New Year 5K walk and run to raise private dollars to help pay for the costs of uncompensated care for the most impacted members of our community. The Lunar New Year is traditionally the most significant holiday for many Asian Pacific Islanders, marking the return of spring and a special time for families to offer wishes for health and prosperity in the coming year.

Last year, ICHS served nearly 31,000 patients in over 50 different languages at nine clinic locations in Seattle, Bellevue and Shoreline. In recent years, facing massive cutbacks in state support, the ICHS 5K has taken on added importance. By supporting this community event, participants and sponsors are helping make health care accessible for all.
