Class of 2026
Thu Le, DNP, ARNP
Thu was born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam. At 18, she moved to Singapore to pursue her education in mass communication and later relocated to Seattle with her family in 2018. She went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and began working as a registered nurse at Swedish Cherry Hill while continuing her studies in advanced practice nursing.
Thu is the middle child of three siblings. Both of her parents were high school teachers in Vietnam who deeply valued education. They immigrated to the United States to provide better opportunities for their children and future generations. Starting from the ground up, her family worked diligently in healthcare—her parents as nursing assistants until their retirement last year, and Thu herself as an RN, charge nurse, and preceptor.
Her professional journey includes volunteering in nursing homes, working as a medication technician and nurse technician in memory care, and serving as an RN at Swedish Cherry Hill for three years. These experiences allowed her to care for patients across the spectrum—from those with chronic illnesses to those with acute conditions requiring hospitalization. She strongly believes that improving health outcomes begins with meeting patients where they are. Witnessing her own parents’ struggles to find healthcare providers who understood their needs has fueled her passion to serve immigrant communities, families facing financial challenges, and individuals seeking compassionate care regardless of background.
Thu is excited to begin her residency at ICHS and to work alongside providers and staff who share her commitment to equitable, patient-centered care. In her free time, Thu enjoys cooking, baking, reading, drawing, and karaoke. She currently lives in Maple Valley and loves dining at her favorite spot, Renton Bistro.
Janice Lin, DNP, FNP-BC
Janice grew up in Taiwan before moving to the U.S. as a teenager, an experience that deepened her understanding of cultural adjustment and strengthened her commitment to working with diverse communities.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Washington in 2017 and discovered her passion for nursing while shadowing nurses and a nurse practitioner in a rural community. During nursing school, she completed her clinical rotation at ICHS, where she later began her career as a nurse after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2019. She went on to work in both inpatient float pool and primary care settings and completed her DNP–FNP at UW in March 2025. Her clinical interests center on preventive healthcare for culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
She lives in Beacon Hill with her husband and enjoys yoga, neighborhood walks, pottery, and spending time with friends and family.
Sherilynn Soo, DNP, FNP-C
Sheri (she/her) was born and raised in Beaverton, Ore. and has a deep love for the Pacific Northwest. She is a first-generation Chinese American and her family largely resides in Malaysia and Singapore. Her childhood consisted of running around outside, reading, and trying to be a cool older sister to her younger brother.
After graduating from Seattle University with a BS in Biology, Sheri worked in clinical research for liver disease and organ transplant. Throughout her twenties, Sheri continued to explore other areas of health research, from infectious disease to drivers of global health inequities. During this work, she discovered that her passion lay in direct patient care and returned to Seattle University to pursue her nursing degree with the eventual goal of becoming a nurse practitioner.
For the past two and a half years, Sheri worked as primary care nurse in a community health clinic in her neighborhood. In this role, Sheri's goals became rooted in building resiliency within her community and working towards reducing health inequity through both individual- and institution-level actions. After graduating with her DNP in 2025, she was thrilled to start an opportunity at ICHS and continue to learn this work.
Outside of the clinic, Sheri loves to spend time backpacking and surfing, clock in hours on her Nintendo Switch, host and attend dinner parties, and eat hot pot. She will always say yes to karaoke, trying a new restaurant, or a walk around the neighborhood to chat.
Michelle Tersolo, DNP, FNP-C
Michelle (they/she) graduated from Seattle University’s Doctor of Nursing Practice program in June 2025, and could not be more excited to enter practice as a resident family nurse practitioner at International Community Health Services.
Michelle was born and raised in southern California, where she cultivated an enduring love for nature, art, and science. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience at the University of Southern California as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Seattle University. After working in emergency medicine during the height of the COVID pandemic, Michelle discovered a passion for preventative health, and has worked as a registered nurse in primary care settings for the past three years. She is invested in building strength and resilience in the community through increased health equity. Michelle was drawn to ICHS’ residency program because of its reputation as an organization that prioritizes patient-centered care, and values the diverse cultural backgrounds of its patients.
Michelle lives in Seattle with her partner. In their free time, they enjoy eating delicious food, biking, reading, gardening, and exploring the abundant beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
