Why I Work at ICHS:

From the very first day I arrived at ICHS, I was blown away at the incredible sense of community that the providers, staff, and patients all brought to this space. As the child of Chinese immigrants, I look forward to advancing health equity among the AAPI community and beyond.

Patient Care Philosophy:

I believe that medicine is a tool for social justice and self-determination. I hope to use my education to help my community to empower themselves to choose health in the ways that work best for them. My clinical interests include reproductive health and justice, weight-inclusive medicine/Health At Every Size (HAES), adolescent health, and the health and well-being of LGBTQIAP+ folks.

Interesting Note About Myself:

My favorite things to do include attempting home DIY projects, gardening, trying out new recipes, spending time with friends/family/animals, reading science fiction, practicing violin, and playing video games. I’m also a born and raised Michigander!
