Take a Tour of the ICHS PACE Ron Chew Healthy Aging and Wellness Center
International Community Health Services (ICHS) proudly opened the Ron Chew Healthy Aging and Wellness Center at 939 Golf Drive South on Seattle’s Beacon Hill a year ago in October 2025.
As part of SCIDpda’s Beacon Pacific Village, this new 25,000 square foot senior services center is the home of ICHS Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) — an innovative elder care program designed to keep older adults, who might otherwise need nursing home level of care, in their own homes.
In the video, come along for a virtual tour with ICHS PACE participants and staff in the middle of a normal day at PACE.

ICHS PACE is a Medicaid and Medicare program open to anyone:
- Age 55 or older
- In need of nursing home level of care as defined by the state of Washington
- Residing in the PACE service area at the time of enrollment
- Able to live safely in the community with PACE services
At the Ron Chew Healthy Aging and Wellness Center, PACE participants gain access to wrap around care. Each participant receives a personalized care plan that can include:
- Primary medical care with geriatric considerations
- Pharmacy services and medication administration
- Behavioral health counseling and group therapies
- Physical, occupational, and speech therapies
- Support with daily tasks and personal hygiene
- Nutrition services and communal meals
- Preventative programs for cognitive and physical health
There are four steps to enrollment that will help us determine if a PACE program is right for you.
- Call or email an enrollment specialist. They may also contact you upon receiving a referral.
- Take a tour of our PACE center and complete initial intake forms.
- A nurse will visit your home to determine if you can live safely while in PACE.
- If PACE is a good fit for you, we will have you return to the PACE center to sign final enrollment agreements.
What you pay depends on your eligibility under Medicare and Medicaid:
- If you are eligible for Medicaid, or dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid, you won’t pay a monthly premium for PACE. You may be subject to a “cost of care” amount based on your Medicaid eligibility.
- If you don’t qualify for Medicaid, but you have Medicare, you’ll be charged a monthly premium for PACE.
- If you don’t have Medicare or Medicaid, you can pay for PACE privately.
