For five decades, ICHS has welcomed people of all backgrounds in need of care. In 1973, ICHS was formed by young Asian American activists to disrupt the systemic racism that denied health to Asian immigrant communities.
Today, ICHS remains deeply rooted in the same communities, serving immigrant and refugee patients in over 70 languages. We’ve grown from a single storefront to include four clinic locations, two school-based health centers, an assisted living house, and more!
Together, with the support of our communities, we thrive!
"ICHS Through the Years" video series features stories from four of our clinics:
- International District Clinic and Legacy House
- Holly Park Clinic
- Bellevue Clinic
- Shoreline Clinic
