I provide outreach, referrals, and education services to the Hispanic community to inform them of the health services that ICHS has available for them. I also provide IPA / Enrollment services, voter registration, and women’s health information
ICHS-Bellevue clinic, churches, community centers, schools, and special community events
I started working at ICHS in March of 2015. Before that, I worked as a Social Worker for the Bellevue School District’s Head Start program as well as providing interpreter and translation services at PSESD. I work at ICHS because I find it rewarding to make a difference in the lives of the people in the Hispanic community by introducing them to the accessible services that ICHS provides. My favorite part about the job is meeting new people and being able to make a difference in their lives. An added benefit of the job is that I am able to practice my bilingual language skills.
